About OUCET 2022 or CPGET 2022

Osmania University Common Entrance Test 2022 Osmania University (OU) conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) to provide admission into postgraduate or integrated courses across arts, science, humanities, commerce and education. This exam is a university level examination conducted once a year and is known as OUCET. However, in due course of time, the exam was replaced by CPGET which is expanded into Common Postgraduate Entrance Test. 

As OUCET is replaced by CPGET, individuals will now have to refer to the information booklet or brochure related to CPGET instead of OUCET.

Candidates who wish to seek admission into postgraduate courses in universities across Telangana state have to appear for CPGET. Individuals who pass this exam will be able to join postrgaduate or integrated courses in Osmania, Kakatiya, JNTUH, Satavahana, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi and Palamuru Universities in their campus, constituent and affiliated colleges. Students who wish to pursue masters in courses across various streams can aim for this exam.

The notification is released on the official website of OU at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to graduate level lessons in subject the candidates wish to pursue postgraduation have to be answered in 1 hour 30 minutes.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
