Under Graduate Engineering Entrance Exam 2022 ERA (Educational Rating and Assessment) Foundation based in Bengaluru conducts Uni-Gauge-E test for the candidates who are willing to seek admission into graduate engineering courses at various institutions located across India.
There are many engineering colleges that are participating institutions in the exam and candidates who pass Uni-Gauge-E can apply in them for graduate engineering course. The engineering programmes in these colleges are offered either as BTech or BE.
This is a national level exam that is conducted once a year and candidates who are keen on studying BTech or BE can aim for this test. The notification is released on the official website of Uni-Gauge-E at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to mathematics, physics, chemistry have to be answered in 3 hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, if they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the further admission process which is conducted individually by each participating educational institution.
