About UPSEE 2022 or UPCET 2022

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Test 2022 National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) to provide admission into various graduate, post graduate and intergrated courses offered at various colleges located in Uttar Pradesh. This test was earlier called Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE). UPSEE is replaced by UPCET, candidates from now on should prepare for UPCET.

Candidates who wish to pursue, MBA, MTech, BTech (lateral), BPharma, BDes and other courses in educational institutions affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur and Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur can aim for this exam. This is a state level exam conducted once a year.

The notification is released on the official website of NTA for UPCET at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. 

Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to maths, physics, chemistry, biology, english have to be answered in 2 hours if the course to be chosen through the exam is undergraduate course. 

The questions to be answered will be related to undergraduate lessons of subjects in which the candidates want to pursue postgraduation. Entrance exam duration will be three hours for those who wish to join BPharma course through this exam.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
