Undergraduate Courses Fee

Research Fellowship: All Full-time Ph.D. Candidates are entitled for University Research Fellowship of Rs. 12000/- per month in the first and second year and Rs. 15000/- per month in third year of his Ph.D. course. The candidates availing the university Research fellowship will be given a teaching load of ten hours per week.

There is also facilities to avail scholarship admissible to the students of various categories studying in BBD UNIVERSITY Students of SC/ST, General, O.B.C. and Minority categories can avail the facility of scholarship as detailed below :-

Scholarship for SC/ST Category: Students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs. 2.5 lac, are entitled to avail scholarship and tuition – fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the notification of the U.P. Govt., from time to time.

Scholarship for General category (economically weaker section): Students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs. 2 lac, are entitled to avail scholarship and tuition – fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the notification of the U.P. Govt., from time to time.

Scholarship for OBC and Minority categories: Students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income is less than Rs. 2 lac, are entitled to avail scholarship and tuition-fee refund as per the norms prescribed in the notification of the U.P. Govt., from time to time.

Eligible students may apply for scholarship and tuition – fee refund within the prescribed time-limit for a particular academic year. Their applications will be considered by the institution in accordance with the above norms and, if found in order, will be forwarded to the Uttar Pradesh Government for approval. BBDU offers B.Tech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates must score a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection is based on the JEE Main scores; the JEE Main 2023 cutoff for B.Tech. in Computer Science was 284,606. The total course fee for BTech at BBDU ranges from INR 5.62 to INR 6.82 lakhs.

To apply for admissions at BBDU, candidates must follow these steps-

• Select the program you wish to apply for.
• Fill in the necessary details.
• Upload the following documents:
• Class 10th and 12th mark sheets.
• Graduation mark sheets (for PG courses).
• Passport-sized photograph and signature.
• Category certificate (if applicable).
• Valid entrance exam scorecard (e.g., JEE Main, CAT, NATA).
• Pay the application fees- INR 1000 for UG programs and INR 2000 for PG programs.
• The shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling.

University Library: The Library provides rich & well-stocked 2,00,000 Books, Periodicals and Journals in print as well as in electronic form with online subscription to IEEE, INDEST, Science Direct, Bentham, etc.

BBD FM Radio at 90.8 MHz: Babu Banarasi Das University has launched its own community radio – BBD FM at 90.8 MHz to educate, sensitise and share knowledge with students and the community. The radio station has its own broadcasting, production and recording facilities.

Sports Facilities: The stadium on the campus has a capacity to accommodate more than 20,000 spectators. The stadium is extensively used for outdoor games like Cricket, Football & Hockey and Athletics (Field & Track Events). For other outdoor games, the campus has several courts for Volleyball, Basketball, Lawn Tennis & Badminton. The in-campus hostel students are provided with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess, etc.

Auditorium: The university campus has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000. It has JBL acoustics, a Cinemascope projector, and a Cinemascope screen. The auditorium is regularly used for organising cultural, technical, and academic events and screening of entertainment and educational movies.

Health Services: The University has its own ambulance service and has tie-ups with reputed local hospitals & nursing homes for medical treatment. All hostellers are insured against hospitalisation expenses in addition to accidental insurance.

Student’s Mall and Cafeteria: The Mall is a beautiful double-storied, sloped-roof building with a Food Court, Stationery book Shop, Salon, Dispensary and Branded Outfit Shops.

Hostels: The Hostel accommodation is on a twin/ triple sharing basis. Each Hostel has a Recreation Room with a Television and Indoor Games facilities. BBD University Hostel Fees are also very cheap and affordable to the common people.

Babu Banarasi Das University (BBDU) hostel fees range from approximately ₹60,000 to ₹90,000 per year, depending on occupancy (double or triple) and amenities. For the B.Tech program specifically, the total hostel fees can vary from ₹3.25 to ₹7.65 lakhs over four years, depending on the room type and sharing options.
