Christ Academy Institute of Law lays emphasis on getting hand-on exposure to the various opportunities that would be available to its law students once they complete their course. A structured internship programme is followed at CAIL.

In the first 5 semesters, the student is required to intern at different types of law offices before he/she can select internship of his/ her choice from the 6th semester onwards. This has been done to ensure that the students have an all-round exposure to various opportunities that are available to them before they can make their career decision.

1. 1st Semester: Internship at National or International NGO
2. 2nd Semester: Internship under a Trial Court lawyer
3. 3rd Semester: Internship under a High Court lawyer
4. 4th Semester: Internship with District Legal Services Authority
5. 5th Semester: Internship in the field of Legal Education/ Judicial clerkship / Parliamentary Committees
6. 6th Semester to 10th Semester: Internship of student’s choice
