Student Empowerment is a key feature of life at GDGU and is an integral part of the University for all its Constituent Bodies seeks to identify the best student/best industry for both. Placement Team along with Student Placement Coordinators & Faculty Placement Coordinators work towards the same goal.

Some of the focussed activities are

Career counselling by faculty and trained professionals in different functional areas.
A structured Personality Development Programme, wherein interviewing skills are imbibed by trainers and corporate alike.
PDP and Employability Skill development department takes regular session on Maths/Quant, Reasoning, English, Exposure on different industries & their expectations,
Developing effective resumes and application.
Mentoring by the alumni, in terms of sharing experiences vis-à-vis realities of corporate life, refining expectations and projecting future trends.
The Placement Team indentifies the potential recruiters, interacts with selected companies and coordinates the visit of such corporate executives to the campus, pool campus drives at different locations.
An effective way of creating awareness about companies among students is to provide information. The information could be in the form of company brochures, pamphlets and other published information.
At GDGU, various events, guest speaker panels, conferences, workshops and academic fairs are organized in which companies participate directly or contribute through partnerships.

The package offered at minimum was Rs 3 Lacs per annum and maximum was 17.55 till Nov.21. Among the companies that participated were:
