Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM), Chennai was established in 1963, jointly by Govt. of India and Govt. of Tamil Nadu. IHM is ISO 9001:2015 certified institute, affiliated to NCHMCT, Noida and IGNOU, New Delhi. The institute is accredited by International Accreditation Organization (IAO), Higher Learning Accreditation Consultant and Training (HLACT) and American Accreditation Council Of Business Education (AACBE). It is the best Hospitality and Hotel Management Schools and has been ranked 22nd in the CEO World Magazine Global Rankings. The institute is an autonomous body and offers three year Degree B.Sc in H&HA, two-year Postgraduation M.Sc in HA One and a half year Diploma and Craft Courses.
