Social Scholarships

1. 50 % Scholarships on tuition fee to the wards and siblings of Martyred Personnel of Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Central and State paramilitary forces and Police.

2. 20 % Scholarship on tuition fee to the wards of Serving and retired personnel of Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, Indian Central and State paramilitary forces and police, NCC.

3. 20 % Scholarship on tuition fee to students who are physically challenged at the time of applying.

4. 30 % Scholarship on tuition fee to the Girl applicants.

5. 20% Scholarship on tuition fee for the wards of Health and Hospital frontline workers.

6. 100% Scholarship on tuition fee for the wards of Padmashree, Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Bharat Ratna and National Award winners.

7. 50% Scholarship on tuition fee for the students of North Eastern States (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).

Merit Scholarships

Merit Scholarships are based upon the aggregate percentage a student has scored in his qualifying examination

Percentage of Scholarship

2. Applicants who have topped in CBSE or State Boards of Education or IB or ICSE or Cambridge board in 2022 are entitled to 50 % scholarships.

3. Students who have scored minimum 80 percentile and above in UGAT, JEE, CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CMAT, LSAT, CLAT, SAT, GMAT, NEET, GATE, NDA, NIFT, UPSC, CGPSC or any other State PSC Examination are entitled to 50 % Scholarship on tuition fee. Students having scored 70 to 79.99 percentile in above said are entitled to 30% scholarship on tuition fee.

Achievers Scholarships

1. Applicants who have participated in National, Asiad, or International level recognized sports events as a part of the team or solo events are entitled to 50 % scholarship on tuition fee.

2. ApplicantswhohaveparticipatedinStatelevelrecognizedsportsinateamorsoloeventsareentitledto30%scholarship on tuition fee.

3. Applicants who have participated and have secured position or award in recognized National or International level Cultural events or those who have participated in TV reality shows such as Indian Idol, India's got talent, Dance India Dance, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Pageants, KBC are entitled to 30 % scholarship on tuition fee.

4. Applicants having their names listed in Limca Book of records, Golden Book of records or Guinness Book of records can also be considered for Scholarships on case to case basis.

Siblings Scholarships

1. This scholarship is applicable only for direct blood relations of the students currently studying (admitted in last Academic Session 2021-22 or before) in any program of Kalinga University.

2. 20% scholarship is offered in Tuition Fee to the students taking admission in Academic Session 2022-2023.

3. This scholarship is valid only till the completion of course of elder sibling i.e. previously admitted current student.

Social Media Scholarships

Applicants having strong presence in social media specially knowledge dissemination in the area of Art, Music, Social Work, technology and culture can be offered upto 20% percent scholarship on tuition fee, these scholarships will be decided by University scholarship Committee.

Innovation and Research Scholarships

Applicants having published research papers, books, startups, technology or product innovation can be offered upto 50% scholarships on tuition fee, these scholarships will be decided by University Scholarship Committee.

Other Scholarships

Wards of Kalinga University Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff are entitled to 50 % scholarship on tuition fee.

Kalinga University Raipur Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission in Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctorate Programs have to take Kalinga Scholastic Entrance Examination (KALSEE). For more information regarding KALSEE click admission.kalingauniversity.ac.in

• Candidates applying through KALSEE need not pay Rs. 1000/- application fee.

Fee: The application fee for KAL SEE 2021

1. India & SAARC - Rs. 1000/- for all courses except Ph.D.
2. India & SAARC - Rs. 2000/- for Ph.D.
3. Fee for other countries & NRI - 40$ -for all courses except Ph.D.
4. Fee for other countries & NRI - 50$ - for Ph.D

Kalinga University Raipur Hostel Fees

The college has a separate boarding facility for the boys and the girls. The rooms are provided on Double sharing and Triple sharing basis. The facilities provided include laundry, Wi-Fi, Yoga for girls and a Gymnasium for the boys. The hostel is equipped with a mess to provide food for the students for three times a day along with some snacks.

The mess provides hygienic and nutritious food to the students. The students decide the weekly menu according to which meals are prepared and served. Mess staff is conscious about the cleanliness and quality of food in a hygienic manner.

The college also has a hostel for the girls and the boys of the college. The hostels of the college are very well ventilated and that is the first priority of them to ensure that hostels have proper ventilation for the college. There are different hostel blocks and each of them are aesthetically designed. The hostel blocks are spread around the campus. The hostels are interconnected, mostly in blocks of three. 

There are comfortable twin and triple sharing rooms in the college with proper amenities. The hostels have wi-fi throughout the day because that is the need of the hour for the students. Talking about the security of the college, there is warden who looks after the hostel campus and for the needs of the students. 

Each of the blocks has a square in the center where badminton courts with good turf are maintained, with some blocks also having lawns in the square.

Each hostel block has a common room where facilities such as wall-mounted televisions, table-tennis tables and carom and chess games are available. It is the common room that provides the scene of action for get-togethers, parties and informal discussions. Each block is also equipped with fully automatic washing machines and each floor is further equipped with landline phones, water coolers and water purifiers. 

The security is obviously intact but that doesn’t mean that the students cannot have fun in their hostels. They just have to be in discipline. The hostel also has a mess which provides hygienic and fresh food to the students three times a day along with the evening snack.

The students can enjoy the meals inside the mess in a light hearted and chilled environment. The college takes pride in saying that they haven’t ever received a single complaint about the hostel food’s taste and quality. They make sure that the students do not feel that they are away from their homes.

Some of the events are also organised by the hostilities such as Teen celebration, football match, and lots of other things.
