KLE Technology University is a State Private University in Hubli, Karnataka. It was founded in 1947 by the Karnatak Lingayat Education Society (KLE Society) as a Polytechnic institute named B.V Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology in Gadag. It later shifted to Hubli and upgraded into a college affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University in 1948. In 2014, BVBCET emerged as an Autonomous Private University recognized by Karnataka State Government and renamed after its founding KLE Society as KLE Technology University.
KLE Technology University Course structure offers undergraduate programs, postgraduate courses and research and Ph.D in various areas of study. KLE Technology University Campus stretches over 53 acres with hostels facilities for both boys and girls. KLE Technology University is recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission).

Admission to KLE Tech is mainly through the centralised counselling process based on scores from state and national-level entrance exams. The university does not conduct its own separate entrance test for flagship courses like BE.
Admission Process
Step 1: Register for Entrance Exam: Candidates must register for the relevant entrance exam (e.g., KCET, COMEDK UGET, Karnataka PGCET, NATA) on the official website of the conducting authority.
Step 2: Appear for Exam & Get Rank: Appear for the chosen entrance test and secure a valid rank. The results and rank cards are published on the respective official websites.
Step 3: Participate in Counselling: Register for the online centralised counselling process conducted by the authorities (KEA for KCET/PGCET, COMEDK for UGET). During counselling, you will need to fill in your choice of colleges and courses, with KLE Tech as one of your preferences.
Step 4: Seat Allotment: Based on your rank, reservation category, and choices filled, a seat will be allotted. You must download the seat allotment letter if you are assigned a seat at KLE Tech.
Step 5: Report to KLE Tech: Finally, report to the KLE Technological University campus in Hubballi on the specified dates with the allotment letter and all required documents to confirm your admission and pay the fees.
The KLE Tech campus is spread across 64 acres in Hubballi, featuring a blend of classic architecture and modern facilities.
Central Library: The library is a hub of knowledge with a vast collection of textbooks, reference materials, journals, and digital resources through subscriptions to platforms like IEEE, Springer, and Scopus.
KLE Tech provides excellent residential facilities with separate, secure hostels for boys and girls, supervised by full-time wardens.
