The merit of the qualifying test and participation in the TNEA Counseling provided by Anna University is used to evaluate admission to B.Tech programs at RMK Engineering College. the College has initiated 10 Scholarships of the value of Rs 5000/- each to be given to needy, deserving and meritorious Students.
The college features an energy park, which was built with TEDA money and uses solar energy for pumps and lighting. For the hostels, it is intended to purchase a solar water heater.

Undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate programs in a variety of subjects are offered at RMK Engineering College Thiruvallur.
