Sardar Patel Medical College (SPMC), Bikaner was established in on 5th Feb. 1959 and the foundation stone was laid down by Shri Mohan Lal Sukhadia, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan. On 1st April 1959, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru laid its cornerstone. The college is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur and recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). SPMC offers 250 seats for MBBS and 63 for the post-grad students, 18 in diploma, two seats in DM cardiology and two seats in MCh Urology.
