St Francis College for Women is an autonomous college, established in 1959 as a Catholic Minority Institution by the Sisters of Charity. College is spread over 8 acres of land in the heart of twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The college has been given the status of College with Potential for Excellence by UGC in 2004 and accredited Grade A by NAAC. Though the college is an autonomous body, it remains affiliated to Osmania University. The college offers undergraduate courses, postgraduate courses and postgraduate diploma courses in multiple streams.
