About Product Design Course

Product Design Course 2023 Courses taught in Product Design in select design schools across India at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are aimed at teaching students how to create a new product to be sold by a business to its customers. Coursework focuses on effectively generating and developing new ideas through a defined process resulting in new products being created.

Students get to learn about the entire product design process right from idea generation to commercialization and the art of combining art and science with technology to create products that people can use. B.Sc in Product Design is a 3-year programme. Furthermore, graduates get to develop a firm understanding of various technologies necessary for the transformation of products into prototypes and after that their industrial production.

In the process, students learn how to critically evaluate products and their evolution with an eye to semiotics and aesthetics, sociology and psychology. You can pursue MSc in Product Design once you complete your BSc.
