Educational qualification
Applicants must have passed graduation in the respective discipline in which they wish to pursue postgraduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates who are appearing for the final year examination or have appeared for final exams are eligible to appear for the entrance test. However, they should have passed the exam and produce the required documents for that by the time of admission.
Nationality
The applicant must be an Indian citizen. They should belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh only and should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
Age limit
There is no age limit for those candidates, who are applying for PG Degree courses. However, those candidates who crossed 30 years of age from Open Category, 34 years for BC, SC and ST are not eligible for claiming any fee reimbursement (As per Memo No.10537/SW. Edn.2/2011, dated: 01-11-2011).
The exam will be conducted in offline mode as a pen and paper based test and questions will be in multiple choice format. The total number of questions to be answered are 100 and total marks are 100. The duration to answer questions is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes). Every correct answer will get 1 mark and there is no mark deduction (negative marking) for a wrong answer.
