Counselling for AMU BA LLB 2022

The dates for counselling in connection with AMU LEE 2022 will be announced on the official website after the results of the written exam are declared. Candidates who pass the written test with required score can take part in the counselling process. Individuals who passed the written test can visit the official website after the result declaration to know about the counselling schedule. 

The counselling schedule will be conducted to fill the seats in three campuses of AMU - Kishanganj (Bihar), Malappuram (Kerala) and Murshidabad (West Bengal). The candidates have to attend the counselling schedule as per the date, time and venue allotted to them. Candidates have to register first and then obtain a username and password on the designated website.

Post creation of the account, candidates can login with the credentials (username and password) obtained  during registration and start filling the form and exert the choice of the course and the institution they wish to study. Candidates have to pay certain amount for taking part in the counselling which is known as counselling fee. The counselling fee would be intimated on the designated website at the appropriate time. 

Candidates, after exercising their choice can submit the form. The seat would be allotted to the candidates based on factors like performance in written exam, performance in the qualifying exam, availability of seats, candidate's choice. Candidate who has got the seat has to pay the fees as a mark of conveying the acceptance and join the college.

Counselling will usually be conducted in one or two rounds, if seats remain vacant more rounds of counselling is likely to be conducted to fill the seats. However, it would depend on the situation. Candidates who do not get a seat of their choice in the first round can participate in subsequent rounds to try a seat of his or her choice. The documents required to be submitted during the counselling are given below for the sake of the students:

3. Original 12th mark sheet
4. Caste certificate of the candidate (if applicable)
5. Physically challenged Certificate (if applicable)
6. Candidate’s transfer or migration Certificate
