Eligibility criteria for AILET 2022

The condition of eligibility depends on the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through this exam. Information about the eligibility is being provided for various types of courses below for the sake of the students:

BA LLB (HONS)

Applicants have to pass Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 system) or an equivalent examination with 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities). Candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination are eligible to apply. However they have to pass the exam and produce the required documents by the time of the admission.

LLM

Applicant should have passed LL.B. or an equivalent law degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). Candidates appearing for final year LL.B. annual examination are eligible to apply. However they have to pass the exam and produce the required documents by the time of the admission.

PhD

Applicant should have passed LLM or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities).

 

Exam pattern for AILET 2022

The pattern depends on the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through the exam. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes for students who have applied for BA LLB Hons, the total number of questions are 150. The test for PG course is 102 and they have to be answered in a duration of 90 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes. More information about the pattern is provided below for the sake of the students:
