Candidates who are applying for AULAT 2022 or AU LAT 2022 must ensure they are fulfilling the required eligibility condition. Ensuring the fulfillment or compliance of eligibility criteria will bring down the chances of rejection.
If eligibility criteria is not fulfilled and this is detected at a later stage after submitting the application, authorities concerned would not entertain the application of the candidate who is found not meeting the required eligibility criteria. The conditions of eligibility are provided below for the sake of the candidates:
Educational qualification
Candidates should have completed their graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. They should have obtained at least 45% marks in the qualifying degree if belonging to general category, 42% marks if belonging to OBC category and 40% marks if belonging to SC/ ST category.
Candidates who are appearing for the final year exams of their qualifying degree can also apply, however, they have to pass the exam and produce required documents as a proof of passing the qualifying exam during the admission process.
English is one of the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level.
Age limit
There is no age limit for applying for AU LAT.
The exam will be conducted in offline mode as a pen and paper based test for a total of 150 marks. The duration to answer the questions will be two hours. The medium of the exam is english and hindi. Information about the exam pattern is provided in a tabular format below:

The questions in the exam will be from legal aptitude, reasoning ability, language skills, general knowledge and current affairs. Lanuage sections will have 50 questions, General Awareness and Current Affairs will have 50 questions and Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Mental Ability will also have 50 questions.. The total marks for all the questions in the above mentioned fields are 300. The information is provided in the tabular format below:
