Educational qualification
Applicant must be a graduate in law from a recognised educational institution located across India. He or she should have studied 3 year LLB or 5 year LLB course. The pass marks for candidates of General category is at least 45% in the qualifying exam. The same for candidates of reserved category is 40%.
Candidates need to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST candidates). The applicants who are appearing for their final year exams of their qualifying degree can also apply. However, they should pass the exam and produce documents for that by the time of admission.
The exam has 200 questions for 200 marks and they have to be answered in a duration of two hours. Students can go for either online or offline mode keeping in view their convenience as the test will be conducted in both the modes. The questions will be in multiple choice format. The questions are related to language skills, legal aptitude, general knowlegde, logical reasoning and analytical ability and numerical ability.
