Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry taken together. In addition, the minimum marks for each paper are 55%. Candidates who wish to join biology or biotechnology-oriented engineering courses must pass biology as one of the subjects.
Other Qualifications
Students who have passed JEE Mains can also apply. Among others who can submit applications are students who have passed the SAT and the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Examination. Candidates seeking admission with Pearson UG Entrance Examination score should have an aggregate minimum of 75% in PCM with not less than 75% in Mathematics.
This year, the exam will be conducted as a Centre-Based Test in either offline or online mode. The test could be conducted in both modes. The questions to be answered are related to maths, physics and chemistry if the candidates choose normal engineering courses.
The same for candidates who choose biology or biotechnology-oriented engineering courses is biology instead of maths, along with physics and chemistry. More information about the exam pattern is provided in a tabular format below:
