Eligibility criteria for AP DEECET 2022

General

The eligibility for applying for AP DEECET 2022 is a pass in plus-two with 50% pass marks. Candidates who are appearing for plus-two exams or have appeared and are waiting for the results can also apply. However, they have to produced the required certificates indicating their passin the exam by the time of admission.

SC/ST category candidates have to pass the qualifying exam with 45% pass marks. Applicants for AP DEECET 2022 should also be a The candidates applying for AP DEECET must be 17 years of age as on the admission year of AP DEECET. Applicant must also be an Indian national and a local resident of Andhra Pradesh.

Subject wise eligibility

  • Mathematics: The candidates must have studied Mathematics at Intermediate level.
  • Biological Science: The candidates must have studied Botany and Zoology at Intermediate level.
  • Physical Science: The candidates must have studied Physics and Chemistry at Intermediate level.
  • Social Studies: The candidates who have studied any two subjects out of civics, economic, history, commerce and geography at intermediate level.

Exam pattern of AP DEECET 2022

The exam pattern of AP DEECET 2022 is online and has questions in objective type. Candidates get two hours to answer the questions. The total number of questions are 100 and total marks are 100. The paper will be divided into Part A and Part B. Part A will have questions related to general knowledge, english language, social science and others.

Part B will have questions related to specific subjects like physics, biology, zoology, history that are taught at 11th and 12th standard classes. Part A wil be the same for everyone, Part B would be different, questions will depend on the subjects candidates choose while filling the application form. The exam format is provided in tabular format for the sake of the candidates:
