AP PGECET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

Candidates must hold a bachelors degree in the relevant engineering discipline in which they wish to pursue postgraduation with at least 50% marks  (45% in case of reserved category candidates) from a recognised educational institutions. Candidates aiming for MPharma course must have passed Pharmacy at the graduation level from a recognised educational institution.

Candidates pursuing a BTech course or BPharm course will be eligible to apply. However, they have to pass course and produce the required documents as proof for that by the time of admission into the colleges.

GATE/GPAT

Candidates who have passed GATE and GPAT can also apply. Registrations for GATE and GPAT qualified candidates are done as part of separate provisions.

Domicile/Citizenship

Candidates should be an Indian National. They should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

Exam pattern for AP PGECET 2022

The duration for the test is two hours and it is conducted in online mode and questions will be presented in multiple choice format where each query will have more than one reply and right one has to be chosen to get the mark. Wrongly answered questions will not be losing any marks as there is no negative marking. The total number of questions is 120.
