Eligibility criteria for AP PGLCET 2022

Educational qualification

Applicants  must have passed a 5-year or 3-year LLB programme with 50% marks in aggregate if they are from General category. In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, the minimum aggregate marks required is 45%. 

Candidates who are appearing for the final year exams of their qualifying degree can also apply. However, they should have passed the exam and produce the required documents indicating their passing of the exam by the time of admission.

Age limit

There is no upper age limit while applying for the exam. 

Nationality/Residentship

The applicants must be a citizen of India and must be residing in Andhra Pradesh satisfying local/ non – local resident-ship requirements as has been mandated.

Exam pattern for AP PGLCET 2022

The exam will be conducted in online mode and the questions to be answered are related to various subjects of law taught at undergraduate level in recognised educational institutions. The duration to answer 120 questions is 1 hour 30 minutes or 90 minutes. The total marks are 120 and the medium of the test is english and telugu. 

The exam is divided into two parts - Part A and Part B. The marks for questions in Part A is 40 and the same in Part B is 80. Each question gets one mark when answered correctly. More information is provided below in the tabular format for the sake of the students:
