About AIFD WAT 2022

Army Institute of Fashion and Design Written Admission Test 2022, AIFD WAT 2022 -  Army Institution of Fashion & Design (AIFD) conducts Written Admission Test (WAT) to admit students into two courses - BSc Fashion and Apparel Design (FAD) and BSc Interior Design and Decoration (IDD) offered by it and which are also known as BSc FAD and BSc [IDD].

The exam is popularly known as AIFD WAT and is open to the children of army personnel. Applicants must have the required educational qualification and also must be children of serving Army personnel or children of eligible ex-Army personnel or children of war widows or widows to apply. Students who wish to pursue bachelors in fashion design or interior design can aim for this exam.

The notification is released on the official website of AIFD at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language Competency & Comprehension have to be answered in two hours time.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
