The applicants should be passed in Class 12th examination with science subjects from a recognized board of education. The science subjects should be biology, physics and chemistry. Those who are appearing for the 12th examinations are also eligible but they should pass the exam and provide the proof of it by the time of admissions.
Domicile
The applicants should be permanent residents of Assam and domiciled in the state only.
Age limit
There is no restriction of age for admission to this course.
Point to remember
Candidates who are wards of Armed personnel are also eligible to apply for AAU VET.
The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based exam) and there will be three hours for the candidates to answer questions related to biology, physics and chemistry. The total number of questions are 200 and total marks are 200. Every wrongly answered question will lose 0.25 marks and every correctly answered questions will have 1 mark.
