Applicants for BEET 2022 must have passed bachelors or masters degree in any discipline with 50% pass marks. Candidates who have passed BE/BTech with 55% pass marks can also apply for BEET 2022. The relaxation of 5% can be provided for candidates from reserved categories.
Candidates must have studied any two of the following subjects as a part of their education process:
English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Persian, Arabic, History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Humanities, Physical Science, Biology, Maths, Commerce, Computer science.
BEET 2022 will be conducted offline and will have two parts - Part A and Part B. Applicants have to attempt both the parts. Part A consists of 4 sections and Part B consists of 1 section. Candidates will have to secure a minimum cut off mark in each section to qualify for the exam.
Part A aims to test candidates’ ability to analyze situations, thinking capability and problem-solving ability.
The total number of marks is 100 and duration of BEET 2022 will be 2 hours. The questions will be in multiple choice format.
Part A is devised to check candidates’ ability to decipher situations, thinking capability and problem-solving ability. Part B is designed to know the candidate's knowledge in various subjects or the subject chosen by the candidates while filling the application form.
