The criteria for eligibility depends upon the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through the test. Candidates can apply for graduate engineering and diploma (polytechnic) courses and eligibilty for both are different. More information is provided below for the sake of the students:
BTech
The qualification in +2 exam pass and subejcts must be Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocation as primary subjects. Scoring a minimum of 45% in the +2 qualification exam is necessary. The minimum score for the reserved candidates is 40%.
Applicants should have completed BSc. degree course with maths as a base subject. The qualification should be from a recognized institute with a minimum score of 45%. Similarly, the minimum score for the reserved candidates is 40%. The applicants must also have passed EM and EG or Engineering drawing papers.
The applicants must have have cleared matriculation or 10th examination or other relevant exams. The minimum score required to obtain is 35%
Candidates must have qualified in 10+2 vocational or ITI exam in a recognized educational institute. The minimum score required is 60%
AGE LIMIT
There is no dedicated age limit for the candidates who are participating in the exam. You can be within any age limit. However, you must have possessed the above-mentioned educational qualifications.
The test will be conducted in offline mode and candidates have to record their answers on a separate answer sheet in two hours or 120 minutes. Question format will be multiple choice where every question will have more than one reply and right one among them has to be chosen for scoring marks.
