Eligibility condition depends on the type of the course candidate wishes to study in CEPT University. Students must ensure they fulfill the required conditions of eligibility before they apply for the course. Eligibility criteria is being mentioned for the sake of the candidates below as a tabular format:

Applicants should have passed 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects OR Passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject having obtained at least 50% marks in the aggregate and have obtained valid score in the NATA as prescribed by Council.

Applicants must have passed bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Landscape Architecture/Urban Design and Interior Design disciplines from a recognized Institution. Even candidates who have passed postgraduation in Botany/Ecology/Horticulture/ Geography/Agriculture/Forestry/Geology/Hydrology or similar natural sciences of a minimum of two years of full-time study with a prescribed bridge course can apply. Students of 4 years bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Planning with a prescribed bridge course can apply. |
Aggregate 55% (50% for reserved categories) |
| Master of Landscape Design |
Students who have master’s degree in any of the disciplines like Botany, Ecology, Horticulture, Geography, Agriculture, Forestry, Geology, Hydrology of a minimum of two years of full-time study with a prescribed bridge course.

Students who have passed bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Technology/Environmental Engineering/Urban Design and Architecture can apply.

| Master of Technology in - Structural Engineering Design |
Students should have passed bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology. Candidate shall have cleared XII Examination in the science stream with Mathematics and Physics as required subjects. |

| Master of Technology in Geomatics |
Students should have passed bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Geoinformatics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Information Technology / Water Resources / Agriculture / Planning / Urban Design and Architecture OR Master’s degree in Basic Science / Earth Science / Geoinformatics / Climate Science / Environment Science / Information Technology / Disaster Management and Geography. Students should have cleared XII Examination in the science stream with Mathematics and Physics as required subjects. |
Aggregate 55% (50% for SC / ST / SEBC candidate) |
| Master of Technology in Building Energy Performance |
Applicants should have passed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Construction Technology / Architecture / Interior Design or Interior Architecture (five-year programs only) from a recognized institution. Applicant should have cleared XII Examination in science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. |
Aggregate 55% (50% for SC / ST / SEBC candidate) |
CEPT Entrance Exam 2022 or CEPT EE 2022 is an online exam that would be conducted for a duration of three hours. The questions in the exam would depend on the type of the course candidates are trying to apply. The questions will be in the format of multiple choice where every answer will have more than one reply and right one has to be chosen as the answer. The format is being provided below for the sake of the students:
