Common Admission Exam 2022 One of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) located across the country takes up the responsibility of conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) to provide admissions into MBA or PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) courses in IIMs located across the country.
The IIM which would be conducting CAT for 2022 is yet to be announced. The exam is one of the most popular ones among the management exams, many institutions consider CAT scores of the candidates while providing seat in MBA courses offered by them.
Candidates who wish to do masters in business administration or postgraduate diploma in management can aim for this exam.
The notification is released on the official website of CAT at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA) have to be answered in two hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it. Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the further admission process.
