Eligibility for COMEDK UGET 2026

The COMEDK 2026 Exam Eligibility criteria ensure that only qualified candidates can apply. Applicants must review these conditions carefully before registration.

Eligibility Criteria for COMEDK 2026
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent examination recognised by a State or Central Board.
  • Subjects Required: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory, with English as a mandatory subject.
  • Minimum Marks:
    • General Category: 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
    • SC/ST/OBC (Karnataka State): 40% aggregate in the same subjects.
  • Diploma Holders: Not eligible to apply.
  • Number of Attempts: One attempt per year is allowed.

Exam pattern for COMEDK UGET 2026

The medium of the exam will be english and every correct reply will get 1 mark, and a wrongly answered question will not lose any mark. Total Marks would be 180. The questions will be in multiple choice and will be related to maths, physics and chemistry of 12th standard levels. 

However, in the event of a tie in the test score, the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adopted. In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties. More information is available in the table below, and students can refer to it:
