Eligibility criteria for DAVUET 2022

The condition of eligibility depends on the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through DAVUET. Graduation and Postgraduation courses are offered to students who pass the test.

A pass in plus-two is a must for those who wish to apply for graduation and those passing bachelors degree can apply for postgraduate courses. More information is provided below for the sake of the students in a tabular format:

Course Eligibility 
Engineering (Graduate) Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 45%
marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to
SC/ST) in the above subjects taken together.
Engineering (Post Graduate) Passed with 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidate
belonging to SC/ST) in B. Tech. or equivalent in relevant
discipline.
Engineering (Lateral Entry) Passed diploma examination from an AICTE approved
Institution with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of
candidates belonging to SC/ST) in any branch of
Engineering/ Technology.
Or
Passed B.Sc. degree from a recognized University as
defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in
case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) and passed 10+2
examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Or
Passed D.Voc./B.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector
Computer Applications (Masters MCA) Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in
BCA/B.Sc.(IT)/B.Sc.(CS) or equivalent/B.Voc. with
Computer as a major subject and with mathematics at
10+2 level or at graduation level with at least 50%
aggregate marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to
SC/ST)
Or
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or
equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in case
of candidate belonging to SC/ST)
Or
Any bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration
with mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level and
minimum One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Computer
Applications/Science/IT or equivalent from any
recognized University/Institution at least 50% aggregate
marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST)
Computer Applications (Graduate - BCA) Passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks (45% in
case of candidate belonging to SC/ST
Science (Graduation  BSc) Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination or
equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics/Biology. Candidates trying for biology or biotechnology oriented courses in graduation have to study biology as main subject or as one of the subjects
Science (Post Graduation MSc) Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in Bachelor’s degree with
in the relevant subject.
MBA Passed Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50%
marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to
SC/ST). 
BCom Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination or
equivalent with English. 
MCom Bachelor of Commerce (Regular, Honours,
Professional)/Business Administration/Accounts or
equivalent course with at least 50% marks (45% marks in
case of candidate belonging to SC/ST).
BA Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination or
equivalent in any stream with English. 
MA Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent in any stream.
B.Sc.B.Ed Passed with 60% aggregate marks (55% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination or
equivalent in science stream
B.A.B.Ed Passed with 60% aggregate marks (55% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 or equivalent in
any stream with English
BPed Passed with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree
(any stream) or equivalent with at least participation in
the Inter College/ Inter-Zonal/ District/ School
competition in sports and games as recognized by the
AIU/IOA/ SGFI/ Govt. of India Or Bachelor’s degree in any
stream with 45% aggregate marks and studied physical
education as a compulsory/ elective subject.
Along with the above mentioned criteria, the Student will
have to qualify compulsory Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
M.P.Ed Passed with 50% marks in the B.P.Ed. Degree/or B.Sc.
degree in Health & Physical Education (45% marks in case
of candidate belonging to SC/ST).
Along with the above mentioned criteria the Student will
have to qualify compulsory Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
LAW (B.A.LL.B (Hons) Passed with 45% aggregate marks (40% marks in
case of candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2
examination or equivalent.
B.Sc. in Health
and Physical
Education
Passed with 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized
Board and the
Student will have to qualify compulsory Physical
Efficiency Test (PET). 
BBA Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination or
equivalent with English
B.Sc. (Hons) in
Economics
Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination or
equivalent in any stream with English.
B.A  - JOURNALISM &
MASS COMMUNCATION
Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of
candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination or
equivalent in any stream

Exam pattern for DAVUET 2022

The test is conducted in offline mode as a pen and paper based test, this is where the answers have to be noted on a separate answer sheet. Every correct answer will get 1 mark and every wrong answer will lose 0.25 marks. Questions related to maths, physics, chemistry have to be answered if the course chosen through this exam is engineering. 

Admission into biology or biotechnology oriented courses at graduation level requires to answer questions related to biology instead of maths along with physics and chemistry. Postgraduate course applicants have to answer graduate level lesson related questions in the subject in which they wish to pursue postgraduation. More information is provided below for the sake of the students in a tabular format below:
