The condition of eligibility depends on the type of the course the candidate is trying to apply through DAVUET. Graduation and Postgraduation courses are offered to students who pass the test.
A pass in plus-two is a must for those who wish to apply for graduation and those passing bachelors degree can apply for postgraduate courses. More information is provided below for the sake of the students in a tabular format:

The test is conducted in offline mode as a pen and paper based test, this is where the answers have to be noted on a separate answer sheet. Every correct answer will get 1 mark and every wrong answer will lose 0.25 marks. Questions related to maths, physics, chemistry have to be answered if the course chosen through this exam is engineering.
Admission into biology or biotechnology oriented courses at graduation level requires to answer questions related to biology instead of maths along with physics and chemistry. Postgraduate course applicants have to answer graduate level lesson related questions in the subject in which they wish to pursue postgraduation. More information is provided below for the sake of the students in a tabular format below:
