Counselling for EMAT 2022

Candidates who have passed the exam with the required cutoff can take part in the further admission process. The procedure after the test comprises Interview. Candidates can know the result and compare their score with the cutoff marks. 

The candidate's score should either be equal to cutoff marks or more than that. In case, the score is either equal to or greater than the set cutoff, individuals can take part in the next stage of admission process. Personal Interview schedule would be intimated to the candidates. They can find information about the time and date for next admission procedure on the official website also. 

The information regarding the further admission procedure will likely be intimated to the candidates on their email ids also, they can refer that regularly. Candidates have to report at the centre designated with the required documents for the further admission process. They have to show the documents, undertake registration process. The events (GD/PI/WAT) can be conducted in any order and candidates have to be prepared for it.

Personal Interview is about interacting with senior members/faculty members of the institution where the candidates would usually speak about their interests, purpose behind taking up the course and various nuances about the academic subject.

The aim of this round is to test the communication skills of the candidate and also his attitude and aptitude and interest towards  the academic subject. The final selection will be done based on the performance in Entrance Test, PI and Qualifying exam. 

Documents to be required during the selection process

Candidates have to take certain documents with them while attending the counselling process. Candidates must have both photocopies and originals of the documents mentioned below as both would be of use during the counselling process:

$ EMAT Score card/Result card

$ 10th class marksheet

$ 12th class marksheet

$ Undergraduate or Postgraduate marksheet/suggested alternative if the marksheet is yet to be obtained

$ Caste certificate (if applicable)

$ PwD certificate (if applicable)

$ Indentification cards like Aadhar Card/Voter Id/Pan Card

$ Call letter for the further admission process
