Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test 2022 Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) conducts Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) to provide admissions into engineering courses in colleges across Haryana under lateral entry.
Candidates who pass this exam will be able to study engineering course in colleges located across Haryana from second year onwards. The duration of engineering course under lateral entry is three years. This is a state level exam conducted once a year and is for students who wish to gain admission into various engineering courses under lateral entry. The exam is also popularly known as LEET or Haryana LEET or HSTES LEET.
The notification is released on the official website of HSTES at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to mathematics, physics, chemistry and technical questions related to various engineering disciplines have to be answered in 1 hour 30 minutes or 90 minutes.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
