Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test 2022 Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTSB) conducts Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) to provide admission into polytechnic diploma courses in polytechnic institutions located across the state.
This is a state level exam that is conducted once in a year and is for those who wish to pursue polytechnic courses in various disciplines of science and technology.
The notification is released on the official website of HPTSB at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. The facility to submit applications for HP PAT is open currently and candidates can visit the official website to submit application till 30 May 2022. The application submission began on April 4, 2022.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time and centre of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in offline mode and questions related to mathematics, physics, chemistry and english have to be answered in 3 hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it. Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process.
