Eligibility criteria for HP PAT 2022

Candidates have to ensure they are fulfilling all the criteria to apply for the exam. Post ensuring the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, they can apply for the test. More information about the eligibility is provided below for the sake of the students:

Domicile/Educational Qualification

Applicants must belong to the Himachal Pradesh state. They must be residing in any one of the districts in the state.  Applicants must have passed their Class 10 or equivalent exam conducted by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.  Candidates who appeared for the qualifying exam and awaiting results can also apply. They should pass the exam and then produce documents as a proof of it by the time of admission.

Pass Marks/Subjects

It is important to secure at least 35% of aggregate marks in the qualifying Class X exam. Candidates have to pass in the mandatory subjects which include Mathematics, Science, and English.

Exam pattern for HP PAT 2022

The test shall be conducted in offline mode where the answers have to be recorded on an answer sheet that would be provided separately. The duration to answer questions is 3 hours or 180 minutes. Every correct answer gets 4 marks and a wrongly answered question will lose 1 mark. More information is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:
