The applicants should be a pass in graduation with at least 50% marks in Medical/ Non-Medical/ Commerce/ Arts) or a pass in Master’s Degree in Social Sciences/Sciences/ Humanity/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks. SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD applicants must secure a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
Nationality and age
The applicant must be a citizen of India to appear for the exam. The age limit should be 18 to 20 years at the minimum and there is no upper age limit to apply for the exam.
Candidate have to answer 150 questions in multiple choice format in a time of two hours. Every correct reply will fetch 1 mark and there is no negative marking in this exam. The pattern of the exam is provided in the tabular format for the sake of the students:
