Counselling for HORTICET 2022

The counselling is likely to be announced after the declaration of results of the exam. Candidates who have passed the exam with the required score can move towards taking part in the counselling process. 

Counselling is the process where students can apply for the seat to study the course of their choice in the institution. Candidates have to produce required documents like pass certificate related to the entrance exam, certificates related to qualifying exam.  The seats would be allotted based on availability, demand for them. Candidates who pass the qualifying exam with required qualifying marks have to register for counselling at the designated website.

Applicants can visit the website and register and create an account comprising username. Post creation, candidates can login and provide the required details like their name, score in the qualifying entrance test, score in qualifying exam and other details and then choose the college and course they wish to study.

Choices made by candidates are analyzed and then seats are allotted based on factors like performance in written test and qualifying exam, choices of candidates, existing availability of seats. Counselling could be conducted in more than one round, students who dont get the seat of their choice can also try in subsequent rounds.
