Education qualification/Pass Marks
Students must have passed a bachelor 's degree or equivalent, from a recognized educational institution located across India. They should pass their qualifying degree with a minimum of aggregate 50% marks. They should also have passed plus-two with 50% pass marks.
Foreign/NRI candidates
Applicants from foreign shores can also apply, however, they should have passed GMAT with a good score. Foreign and NRI candidates need to apply only through the GMAT score.
Age
There is no upper age limit to apply for HBSAT. Final year graduation students or equivalent are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria by the time of admission.
Point to remember
Candidates with valid MAT/GMAT/CAT/XAT/NMAT scores are exempted from HBSAT. They can apply directly, post shortlisting, they can directly appear for GD and PI rounds.
The duration of the exam is 1 hour 30 minutes or 90 minutes and has questions related to Data Sufficiency, Communication & Business Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning. The questions related to these subjects will be divided into four sections and format of the questions is multiple choice where each question will have more than one reply and right one has to be chosen for getting a mark. More information is provided in the tabular format for the sake of the students:
