The eligibility criteria for IGNOU OPENNET 2022 is mentioned below. Applicants have to ensure they are meeting the required eligibility conditions before applying for the test. Ensuring fulfilling of eligibility criteria will do away the chances of rejection of application.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants can be in service nurses who have passed plus-two from a recognised institution and have three years diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with a minimum of two years of experience in the profession. They must be registered.

OR

Male nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme can also apply. However, they, must have certificates in any nursing course of 6 to 9 months duration prescribed by the Indian National Council In lieu of Midwifery.

OR

In-Service nurses have cleared 10^th class can apply. They must have three years diplomas in General Nursing and Midwifery and five years of experience in the profession.

Age limit

There is no age limit for the Post Basic B.Sc Nursing entrance test as per university rules and regulations.

Exam Pattern for IGNOU OPENNET 2022

Students have to know the exam pattern for IGNOU OPENNET 2022 before beginning the preparation for the test. This will have information about what type of questions will be asked in the exam, the time duration left for answering the questions, time to be allotted to solve every single question.

• The examination is comprised of 120 multiple choice questions
• For every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded
• Time duration to complete the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes
• The questions are asked from the subjects like Reasoning Aptitude, General Knowledge, Mathematics, General English and Science
• Candidates will be provided with an OMR sheet for marking their responses
