Eligibility criteria for IIMCEE 2022

The eligibility criteria for IIMCEE 2022 is provided here for the sake of the applicants. They have to ensure that they are fulfilling the criteria before moving ahead to apply for the exam. 

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have passed bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised institution located across India. Even those who are appearing for the final year exams or have appeared for the final year exams of bachelors degree can also apply. However, they should have passed the exam and required certificates must be produced by the time of admission.

Age limit

Only those born on or after 1st August 1996 are eligible for admission in General
Category, 1st August 1993 for OBC category and 1st August 1991 for SC/ST/Differently-abled category. 

Exam pattern for IIMCEE 2022

The exam pattern also forms an essential part of the preparation strategy. Candidates must first know the way the exam will be conducted so that they can get insights using which they can prepare their study plan. 

Exam pattern for IIMCEE 2022 will have two tests - Test 1 and Test 2. Test 1 one will be for four courses other than regional language journalism courses - PG Diploma in Hindi Journalism, PG Diploma in English Journalism, PG Diploma in Public Relations & Advertising and PG Diploma in Radio & Television.

The other test will be for Regional Language PG Diploma courses in Journalism (Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu). The questions in both the tests are given below for the sake of the candidates:

100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on General Knowledge & General Aptitude including a few general questions from the field of Media & Communication.

Questions will be bilingual — English & Hindi.

Regional Language PG Diploma Journalism courses (Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu)

100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on General Knowledge & General Aptitude including a few general questions from the field of Media & Communication

Questions will be in respective regional language.
