Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test 2022 Indian Maritime University (IMU) conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) to provide admission into various graduate and postgraduate courses offered by it and its affiliated institutions located across India.
This is a national level exam conducted once a year and students who wish to study courses related marine engineering, ship management and sciences allied to it at graduate or postgradute level can aim for this exam.
The notification is released on the official website of IMU at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. Sources point out that the application submission for 2022 admissions began on 29 March 2022 and ended on 26 May 2022. The students willing to apply for this exam can do it at the next appropriate time.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and location of the test centre will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to English, General Aptitude, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry have to be answered in two hours.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.
Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. Information about the exam is provided below in a tabular format for the sake of the students:

Candidates should be in between 17 years to 25 Years of age at the time of application.Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) & Schedule Tribe (ST) category will get a relaxation of 5 years.
Meeting the eligibility criteria of IMU CET is the priority. Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria should not apply. It is because the admission authority will not accept their application. Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be responsible for the counselling session of JEE Advanced qualified candidates.
