Educational qualification
The applicants must have passed degree in any discipline from a recognised institution located across India. The candidates should also have computer literacy (they should have working knowledge of computers). The candidates must also be proficient in any one of the regional languages in India.
Age limit
The applicants must be in the age limit of 20 to 28 years in age. Candidates of certain categories get age relaxation with regards to upper age and details about it are provided below:

Nationality
The applicant must be a citizen of India and a resident of any union territory or state of India. These candidates can also apply and details about it are provided below:
The exam will have two stages - prelims and mains. The questions in both the stages are in multiple choice format where the candidates have to pick the right reply among the many answers for every question. The duration for prelims to answer questions is 60 minutes, the same for mains exam is 160 minutes. The exam pattern is being provided below for the sake of the candidates:
