Institute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Exam Online & Offline Both

Eligibility criteria for IEMJEE 2022

The qualificiation depends on the type of the course the candidate wishes to apply through this exam. The undergraduate course aspirants must pass plus-two in science stream with subjects as maths/biology, physics, chemistry as subjects. The postgraduate course applicants must have passed bachelors degree in the relevant discipline. More information is provided below for the sake of the students:

BTech

A pass in 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45% for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required. Candidates can also have subjects like Computer Science, Biotechnology, Electronics, English.

BBA/BCom

A pass in 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised Board/University in any stream. Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45% for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required. Candidates should preferably pass plus-two with good marks even in english. Commerce course applicants can preferably have subejcts related to commerce in plus-two.

BCA

A pass in 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised Board in any stream. Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45% for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required. Candidates can also have subjects like Computer Science, Electronics preferably. 

MCA

Candidates must have passed bachelors in computer applications (BCA) from a recognised institution. Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45% for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required. Candidates with BSc in Computer Science can also apply. 

MBA/MTech

Applicants who have passed any degree from a recognised institution can apply for the course. Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45% for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required. Applicants for MTech must be a pass in BTech in the relevant discipline with at least 50% of marks in aggregate.

 

 

 

 

 

Nationality

Applicants of Indian origin, as well as Foreign nationals, are eligible to appear for IEMJEE.

Educational Qualification for UG Programs:

  • Aspirants should have passed class 10 and class 12 exams and should secure no less than 50% aggregate (60% for engineering courses and B Stat).
  • Students who are awaiting their result or have appeared for the final examination of the qualifying exam are also eligible for IEMJEE 2022 provided they are able to show necessary documents at the time of admission.

Educational Qualification for PG Programs:

  • Applicants should secure at least 60% aggregate in all semesters of the graduation degree (50% for MBA courses).
  • Individuals who are awaiting their result or have appeared for the final semester of the last year of the qualifying exam are also eligible for IEMJEE 2022 provided they are able to produce necessary documents at the time of admission.

Exam pattern for IEMJEE 2022

The exam will be conducted in online and offline mode and candidates can choose any one of them to write the test keeping in mind their convenience. The online mode comprises test being conducted on a computer and offline mode comprises registering answers on a separate answer sheet which is also known as pen and paper based test, The students can also opt for remote proctored mode (if provided) where they can take the test from the comfort of their home. 

Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, English are to be studied if preparing for undergraduate courses through the IEMJEE. Candidates applying for postgraduate courses can study lessons related to the subject that are taught at the graduate level in most of the recognised educational institutions located across India. Also they must read topics connected to Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. Questions related to the lessons from above mentioned subjects would feature in the exam. More information is provided below for the sake of the students in a tabular format:
