The eligibility condition to apply for the exam depends on the type of the course the candidate wants to apply through the exam. On a general note, the qualification is a pass in engineering degree at bachelors level from a recognised institution in the relevant discipline. *General aptitude test is compulsory for all programmes.
The exam will be conducted as a computer based test and candidates have to answer questions related to relevant, engineering disciplines, science subjects, general aptitude have to be answered in three hours.
The exam will have two sections - one will comprise questions on Basic Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Computer Knowledge and Mathematics which has to be answered by all candidates, other will have questions related to various engineering disciplines, candidates have to choose the discipline in which they wish to pursue PG or PhD or MS.
