Eligibility criteria for KIITEE 2022

The condition of eligibility would depend on the type of the course the applicant is trying to seek admission into through this exam. The criteria of eligibility for KIITEE 2022 is mentioned below for the sake of the students:

Undergraduate

BTech/BTech dual degre

Applicants should have passed plus-two from a recognised institution with maths, physics, chemistry as subjects.

Nursing

Applicants should have passed plus-two from a recognised institution with biology, physics, chemistry as subjects. 

BCom/BA/LLB

Applicants should have passed plus-two from a recognised institution from any stream. Candidates must ensure they are fulfilling the eligibility conditions before they apply.

MCA

Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subject.

MTech

B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent Degree (e.g. AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA / First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC)

GATE qualified candidates shall be accorded preference in the process of selection. GATE qualified  candidates having Score 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination. 

M.Sc(Biotechnology/Applied Microbiology)

Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy/ Veterinary/Engineering/Technology/  Medicine (MBBS/BDS) with at least 55% marks. 

M.Sc. Nursing

Candidate should be a registered Nurse or Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing  Registration Council. 

The minimum education requirement shall be passing of B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc
Nursing with Minimum of 55% aggregate marks.(5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates)

The candidate should have undergone B.Sc.Nursing/B.Sc.Hons.Nursing/PostBasic B.Sc.Nursing in an institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing, Candidate should be medically fit.

MSc Computer Science

Candidates must have B.Sc degree in Computer Science/IT/Mathematics/Electronics/Physics /Chemistry/BCA with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

MA courses

The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 50% mark.

BSc courses

Applicants should have passed plus-two with maths, physics and chemistry as subjects if they are aiming for courses related to maths, physics and chemistry. For courses related to biology or biotechnology or other allied courses have to pass plus-two with biology, physics and chemistry as subjects.

Exam pattern for KIITEE 2022

Candidates have to know the exam pattern for the exam if they are to prepare a sound study schedule. The knowledge of the exam pattern will provide students with lot of information like duration of the exam, no. of questions, types of questions, distribution of marks in each section, total no. of marks, duration to be allotted for every question. All these would help form a very good study plan.

KIITEE 2022 will be conducted in the online mode. The questions will depend on the subject for which the candidate is seeking admission through this test. Individuals have to answer questions in a duration of three hours. Every correct answer will get 4 marks and a wrong answer would lose 1 mark. The format is provided below:

• The duration of the exam is 3 hours

• KIITEE is a computer-based test held in online mode.

• The medium of the exam is ‘English’.

• The multiple-choice questions will be asked in the exam.
