Karnataka PGCET 2022 will be conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance test held every year. This entrance exam is organized for those aspirants who are seeking admission for full time/part-time courses of MBA/ MCA/ ME/ M. Tech/M. Arch and second-year lateral entry to MCA course in various institutions and affiliated universities located in the state of Karnataka.
The notification is released on the official website of KEA at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released.
Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.
Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and location of the test centre will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to computer science, mathematics, analytical ability & logical Reasoning, english and graduate level lessons of various subjects have to be answered in 2 hours 30 minutes.
Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it. Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks, If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process.
