Counselling for KEE 2022

Candidates have to wait for the results of the written test. Those who got the required cutoff score can take part in the counselling process. Cutoff marks are the minimum qualifying marks the candidates have to score in the exam. The score of the candidates should either be greater or equal to the cutoff score which is set by the authority concerned at the appropriate time. The announcement of the cutoff marks will be made after the release of results for the written exam. 

Sometimes, the cutoff marks announcement can be made even before the release of exam results or shortly after the release of results. Candidates must compare their score in the test with the cutoff, if the marks of them are either greater or equal to the cutoff they can take part in the counselling. The schedule for counselling and its mode of conducting will be available on the respective official website. Candidates who have turned eligible may receive the information about the counselling either on their mobile phone or email. 

Candidates can download the call letter for counselling either from the official website or from their email id (if it is sent to it). Post downloading the call letter the candidates can take a printout of that and preserve it for future use. Students have to register themselves for the counselling in the first phase.

Registration can be done either online or offline, depending upon the options made available. Sometimes, both the options may be made available, depending upon the situation. Candidates can register online either from their home or at the designated centres for counselling. However, offline registration has to be done only at the designated centres. Both the process are explained below:

Online registration

1. Candidates can register for counselling by visiting the designated website and clicking the respective link for registration. Post clicking the link, candidates have to fill the details - their name, age, date of birth, qualification, email id, mobile number, residential address, permanent address, details about the written test passed (application number, subject wise scores obtained, exam centre) and create a user account (comprising username and password) and submit them.

1A. Post submission of registration form, candidates will receive a confirmation message. Sometimes, they may receive a One Time Password (OTP) on their mobile phone or email, in such a case, they can enter the visit the designated website and enter the OTP and then obtain confirmation. 

2. Post obtaining confirmation, they can take up the work of choice filling. Candidates have to visit the designated website and choose the college and course they wish to study and confirm them.  

2A. Post choice filling, candidates can have the documents like 10th class marksheet, 12th classmarksheet verified from the authorities concerned. 

3. Counselling fee has to be paid through online mode either with help of credit card, debit card or net banking. Sometimes the fee has to be paid at the time of initial registration itself. Candidates have to do as per the instrutions from the authorities concerned.

Offline registration

1. Candidates have to visit the designated centres for counselling and obtain the registration forms and fill it with details - their name, age, date of birth, qualification, email id, mobile number, residential address, permanent address, details about the written test passed (application number, subject wise scores obtained, exam centre). 

2. Post filling the above details, candidates have to exercise the choice of the college and course they wish to study there and then confirm it. Choosing the college and course is also known as choice filling. Candidates can submit the form along with the required documents to the authorities concerned. The counselling fees has to be paid either through online or offline modes, keeping in view, the options available.

3. The required documents can get verified from the authorities concerned at the designated counselling centres. Post verification, the candidates can get back their documents. 

Candidates have to attend the counselling process with certain documents which are mentioned below:

$ KEE Hallticket

$ KEE Score Card

$ 10th class marksheet

$ 12th class marksheet or suggested alternatives if marksheets are yet to be obtained

$ Identity cards like Voter Card, Aadhar Card, Pan Card or Driving Licence

$ Call letter to attend the counselling process

Post registration

The applications submitted will be analyzed and seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their performance in the written test, performance in the qualifying exam, availability of seats, the existing demand for courses and colleges and choice of the candidates.

Counselling may be conducted in more than one rounds, those who did not get the seat of their choice can try in the subsequent rounds. Students who get seats confirmed, can convey their acceptance and pay the token amount as a sign of acceptance. They can later visit the college where the seat has been sanctioned and pay the remaining of the amount of fees there and join the institution for classes as per the specifications.
