The condition of eligibility depends on the type of the course the candidate wishes to apply through the exam. Candidates can apply for postgraduate courses in agriculture and its allied disciplines through the test in educational institutions situated across Maharashtra.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have completed their graduation degree of at least three years duration in the relevant subject to be eligible for MCAER PG CET. Even those in the final year of their graduation degree are also eligible to apply. However, they should have passed the exam and produce required documents as a proof of it by the time of admission.
Educational Qualification Pass Marks
They should have secured at least 55 per cent marks or a 5.5 CGPA score on a scale of 10 in their bachelor's degree if belonging to the open category.
With regards to the reserved category, Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Vimukta Jati (A) (VJ-a), Nomadic Tribes (B) NT-b), Nomadic Tribes (C) (NT-c), Nomadic Tribes (D) (NT-d), Other backward class (OBC), Special Backward Category (SBC), socially and educationally backward class (SEBC), Economically weaker section(EWS) and Physically Handicapped (PH), the candidates should have secured at least 50 per cent marks or 5.0 CGPA score on a scale of 10 in aggregate of all subjects.
The exam will be conducted in offline mode, as a pen and paper based test where the answers have to be registered on a separate answer sheet. There will be 1 mark for every correct reply and no mark will be deducted for a question wrongly answered.
