Eligibility criteria for MICAT 2022

Educational Qualification

Admission to the Post-graduate Programmes (PGP) both, PGDM (C) and PGDM require a Bachelor's degree (10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply. Candidates who demonstrate aptitude for expressing, assessing, and /or conceiving ideas that move people to action and achieve business results tend to stand a better chance of being shortlisted.

AND

National level Management Exams

Candidates apart from having the above mentioned qualification, they must also have passed national level management exams like CAT/XAT/GMAT.

Exam pattern for MICAT 2022

All candidates are assessed on MICAT, which consists of 3 sections namely, Section A: Psychometric Test, Section B: Descriptive Test and Section C: (has 4 sub-sections) - Divergent and Convergent Thinking; Verbal ability, Quantitative ability and Data Interpretation and General awareness. 

Section A is a qualifier. The candidates will be evaluated on section B and C only if they pass Section A. Candidates who pass section A and B will be evaluated on Section C. Should the candidate fail to qualify a section, they will not be evaluated on the consequent section.

Candidates who pass all the three sections will be able to appear for Group Exercise and Personal Interview. More information about the exam pattern is provided below for the sake of the students:
