Applicants should have passed their bachelors degree from a recognised institution with a minimum of 45% pass marks. There is a relaxation for the candidates from categories - SC/ST/BC/Persons with Disability. They have been given 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks - they need to have 40% marks in their qualifying degree.
Candidates who are appearing for their final year exams of their qualifying degree can also apply for the exam. However, they have to pass the exam and produce required documents for that by the time of admission/counselling. More information is provided below for the sake of the candidates in a tabular format:

Candidates appearing in the qualifying degree exam can apply for PU LLB EE 2022. Such candidates must have passed the qualifying exam and produce the required documents by the time the counselling process commences. |
The questions will be in multiple choice format and duration to answer them is 1 hour 30 minutes. The total number of questions to be answered are 100 and total marks are 100. The test will be conducted in offline mode as pen an paper based mode.
The medium of the exam is hindi, english and punjabi. Every correct answer gets one mark and a wrong answer loses 0.25 mark. Details about the pattern are provided in the tabular format below for the sake of the students:
