About RMCAAT 2022

RMCAAT 2022 - Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) located at Kota in Rajasthan conducts Rajasthan MCA Admission Test (RMCAAT) to provide admission into MCA (Master of Computer Application) course in colleges located across Rajasthan. Candidates who are interested in pursuing MCA course in colleges located across Rajasthan can focus on this exam.

The notification is released on the official website of RTU at appropriate time every year. Candidates can submit applications after the notification is released. 

Candidates can visit the official website and click the link for registration and create an account comprisiing username and password. Post creation of account, they can login with help of password and username obtained during the registration and start filling the form, they can upload the required documents, pay the registration fees and then submit the form.

Post application form submission, applicants have to appear for a written test. The exact schedule, time, and mode of the test will be communicated through registered e-mail id or through other source. The written test will be conducted in online mode and questions related to Elementary Computer Knowledge, Mathematical Ability, and Reasoning Aptitude have to be answered in two hours time.

Candidates who pass the exam with the required score (minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks) will be called for further admission procedure. Cutoff marks will be set and candidate's score in the exam has to be equal to the set cutoff marks or above it.

Candidates can compare their score with the set cutoff marks,  If they find their score to be either equal or greater than cutoff, they can take part in the counselling process. More information about the recent developments about the exam is provided below for the sake of the students:

RMCAAP

This (RMCAAT) exam is said to have been replaced by RMCAAP (Rajasthan MCA Admission Process). As per RMCAAP, candidates seeking MCA admission can visit the official website of RMCAAP and register and submit application forms. Candidates who wish to submit applications forms must have passed NIMCET exam with required score and also have the required educational qualification.

While the information for RMCAAT is provided above for the sake of the candidates, they can refer information about RMCAAT and RMCAAP and then decide accordingly. The candidates seeking admission through RMCAAP may have to appear for NIMCET exam to seek admission into MCA courses in Rajasthan. Individuals are requested to refer even the information about NIMCET exam also before deciding their course of action.

The required qualifications to apply for RMCAAP

BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree

OR

Even those who have studied BSc/BCom/BA with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University) and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
